Disadvantages of split solar street lights:
1.Higher installation costs:
Compared to one-piece solar street lights, the installation cost of
a split design may be slightly higher because more cables and
connecting parts are required. Also, more manual work may be
required for precise installation, ensuring that each component is
positioned correctly for optimal lighting.
2.Need more space:
Solar street lights with split designs need to be installed
separately for panels, fixtures, batteries, and controllers, so
they may require a large installation space. Especially in urban
environments, where the panels can be installed can be limited in
space, and additional consideration needs to be given to the right
location.
3.May affect aesthetics:
Due to the separate installation of the modules, the appearance of
the split solar street light is relatively complex, and it may not
be as simple and beautiful as the one-piece design. For some areas
with high requirements for appearance, the split design may not
meet the requirements as well as the integrated street lamp.
4.Vulnerable connection parts:
Split designs rely on cables and connectors to connect the components together, and the quality of the cable connections is critical to the stability of the system. If the connection section is aged or damaged, it can cause power supply problems or circuit failure.
